CARES for Learning presents SEEDS of Relationship-Based Parenting Train-the-Trainer

What is it?

SEEDS of Learning is a set of Early Childhood Professional Development frameworks. SEEDS of Parenting uses a Train-the-Trainer model to guide practitioners working with parents and family members in supportive, caring, and productive interactions. Through SEEDS Quality Interactions, we foster age-appropriate development. This framework shows how to:

• Seamlessly integrate meaningful literacy-rich exchanges throughout the day.
• Increase parent efficacy (confidence and capability) through a research-based skill development cycle.
• Strengthen learning through quality interactions.
  

Upon completion of training, participants will take a knowledge-based assessment in order to receive certification. The certification is active for 2 years and includes access to all training materials.

The Impact

The interactions young children experience with the adults in their lives have an indelible impact on their developing brain architecture, laying the foundation for all future learning, behavior, and health. Research shows that high-quality early interactions and positive relationships help children strengthen social-emotional skills, increasing their likelihood of success in school and life. SEEDS of Learning is based on years of research about child development, brain development, and how trusting adult-child interactions help children learn. Importantly, it’s been proven to work by rigorous studies.

Who is it for?

This framework is designed for practitioners who support parents or family members of infants and children up to age five.

Cost: $1,300.00
